Portfolio: Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County came to us in the middle of a corporate restructurement, needing the works. Opting not to keep their existing and outdated hardware, gave us the oportunity to implement cutting edge technology within a very small budget, being a non-profit organization. We implemented a Dual Core 3.02GH Windows 2003 Server running Active Directory, with Windows XP SP2 clients, providing an easy transition of hardware and software. We were able to give their website a facelift while providing Web, Email, DNS, and offsite backup hosting, the vitals of any modern buisness. In the works are custom database applications for optimizing productivity in the office, and providing secure remote capabilities. Gold Coast Ironworks Gold Coast Ironworks, a custom steel fabrication company, started as a one man show, but soon needed to expand, quickly. Starting with nothing, we soon turned an industrial office and shop into a productive networked environment. We implemented a Dual Xeon 2.4GHZ, Promise UltraTrack RAID5, with Windows 2003 Server running Active Directory, with Windows XP clients running software like Solid Works, MS Office 2003 and Quickbooks SB. The office is networked with Cat5e @ 1GB speed, also connecting a portable office. No DSL or cable were in their area, so we went with Nextweb, a high speed wireless provider.
